Roy’s Writing Tools
I recently came across these wonderful iTunes podcasts from Roy Peter Clark (note: that is an iTunes store link). Mr Clark is the author of Writing Tools. He seems to be covering all 50 tools, one-by-one. Some of the tips are squarely aimed at trainee journalists, but the majority are generic, and will help any writer, young or old. The podcasts contain excellent advice. They are pithy and are driven by an estimable “tools not rules” philosophy. They are also delivered in an engaging style by Mr Clark himself.
