BBC - Democracy Live

New initiative from the BBC. Right in the middle of the home page is this large font quotation: “You had to pinch yourself today, but make no mistake - Gordon Brown was barnstorming for his old rival Tony Blair”.

This approach is now so deeply embedded in political reporting, but can’t we keep it away from a site that seeks to rejuvenate British democracy?
