Teaching Awards and Honours

Over the years, I’ve received various awards and honours for my teaching. These include a 2025 staff reward for organizing and leading on successful open and visit days for the BSc Media and Communication at Loughborough University; a 2013 Teaching Excellence Prize for my project “Real-time Collaborative Mind Mapping in Seminars Using Simple Software” at Royal Holloway, University of London; and a 2006 Teaching Prize for my project: “Increasing Interactivity and Overcoming Free-Rider Problems in a Hybrid Campus E-Learning Context: The Role of Assessed Student Research Weblogs” at Royal Holloway. The latter was also recognised by a nomination for a New Statesman New Media Award.
